Dr. Shanelle Bolton, EdD, MST, MLS · Founder, POSH Hippi Kitchen

Baking has always been where I go to just make something with my hands.

Recipe developer. Small-batch baker. Building something POSH, one batch at a time.

What POSH Means

Every letter is a commitment — four standards that shape every batch that leaves this kitchen.

P — Purposeful

Every recipe is developed with intention — no shortcuts, no mixes, no filler.

O — Original

Scratch-made recipes, developed and tested in my own kitchen.

S — Small-Batch

Made in limited quantities, always fresh, always made to order — never sitting on a shelf.

H — Handcrafted

Every step done by hand, start to finish — measuring, mixing, dipping, decorating.

Her Story

Baking is the one place I stop strategizing and just make.

I've spent my career building systems for other people — leading child welfare programs, shaping early childhood policy, running teams responsible for tens of thousands of families. It's work I love, and it's also work that lives almost entirely in strategy, frameworks, and other people's timelines.

I've always enjoyed cooking and baking — it's the one place my hands are doing the thinking instead of my head. No meeting to run, no plan to defend, just butter, flour, and a recipe that either works or it doesn't.

POSH Hippi Kitchen started the way most good things do — with a cookie I couldn't stop making. The White Chocolate Rose recipe is floral, a little unexpected, and unmistakably mine. Every flavor since has followed that same instinct — small-batch, made with care, and never something I wouldn't serve at my own table.
